Divorce

Divorce is a difficult event to endure. Facing the legal and emotional aspects of divorce and its consequences can be overwhelming. Please rely on us to give you compassionate and caring guidance through these difficult times. We work with you to set a comfortable pace. Together, we develop an end goal and plan the steps to reach it. This allows us to handle the legal aspects while you regain your footing and work to build your future.

Child Support

Are you paying or receiving child support? If you have not had your numbers checked within the past year or your income or financial circumstances have changed, try out our Support Estimator and run your numbers. We use the Iowa Support Master software to calculate child support. If you come up with a number that causes you to question your support amount, please feel free to contact us to set up a free consultation.

Mediation

When a couple files for divorce, communication often breaks down. This complicates an already difficult situation. Mediation is often the best answer for working out conflicts involving property division and child custody. It gives you an opportunity to talk and make decisions with the guidance of a neutral third party. It also allows you to control the outcome of your case rather than allowing the court to make the decision for you.

Our attorneys have extensive training and experience involving mediation services and receive referrals from the Polk County District Court Mediation Program.

We offer a free initial consultation and gladly accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover for payment.

Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 8-5, with evening and weekend appointments available for your convenience. Contact us today for legal representation tailored to your specific needs.
